About Jake

Jake Maloney, the youngest son of Clay and Vanessa, is a dedicated and passionate individual with a profound connection to horses.

Currently studying Animal Science at Smith Vocational High School in Northampton, MA, Jake is also pursuing his farrier apprenticeship under the guidance of Farrier Tim Reid.

From a young age, Jake has been an avid rider, demonstrating a natural gift and an almost effortless grace when in the saddle.

His ability to become one with the horse, finding his seat and moving as a unified entity, sets him apart as a truly talented equestrian. This same gentle and intuitive approach extends to his work on the ground, where he handles every horse with care and respect.

Jake is a constant helping hand around the farm, always ready to take on any task with enthusiasm and skill. His dedication, combined with his innate understanding of horses, promises a bright future in the world of equine care and management.

Beyond his equestrian pursuits, Jake has an incredible sense of humor and is always quick to make you smile. He enjoys buzzing around on a quad on the trails, competing at motocross, and playing soccer.

With his determination and drive, Jake has a knack for turning his dreams into reality, no matter what he sets his mind and heart on.

Jake is also talented at working on small engines and welding, adding another layer to his diverse skill set.
